KD Arthroplasty Fellowship program

The KD Arthroplasty Fellowship program is a distinguished and influential initiative in India designed for Orthopaedic Surgeons. Crafted under the guidance of esteemed Sr. Joint Replacement Surgeons Dr. Hemang Ambani, Dr. Ateet Sharma, Dr. Amir Sanghvi, and Dr. Chirag Patel, each of whom boasts a record of over 20,000 ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERIES, this fellowship is housed within KD Hospital, where these surgeons also serve as Senior Consultants.

This fellowship aims to provide comprehensive, evidence-based, patient-centered education and training in arthroplasty. Fellows will gradually assume responsibilities in both the operating room and outpatient department, where they can observe and learn from a wealth of experience based scientific approaches to treating arthritic patients. The program fosters the evolution of fellows to plan comprehensive treatments, encompassing preoperative evaluation, implant selection, surgical methodology, and postoperative care. Fellows will also gain proficiency in approaching various types of arthroplasty surgeries across diverse cases.

The fellowship duration spans 6 months, inclusive of both theoretical and practical training.

Enrollment Process for Fellowships

Basic requirement for eligibility: The doctor must be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of India and have at least one year of experience after graduating MS/DNB/Diploma.

Application Submission

The enrollment process begins with the submission of the application form by the candidate.

One-on-One Interview

Selected candidates will be invited for a one-on-one personal or virtual interview with the panel.

Interview Conduct

The panel will conduct interviews with each candidate to assess their suitability for the fellowship program.

Communication

Notification of selection will be communicated to the selected fellows via a phone call or email.

Merit-Based Selection

Applicants for the fellowship program will undergo a merit-based selection process.

Scheduling

Interviews will be scheduled at a mutually agreeable time for both the candidate and the panel.

Notification of Selection

After all interviews are conducted, selected fellows will be notified about their enrollment status.
